2007: For the first time as a Falcon she competed in the all-around twice this year... she competed on vault in every meet but one, on bars and floor three times and on the beam twice... her career best on vault came vs. Kent State when she landed a 9.725... she would also score a 9.725 two other times against Texas Women's University and at the All-Ohio... her new personal best on bars came at TWU when she flipped to a 9.675... her best performance on floor came at MACs where she set another career best with a 9.600... even though she only competed twice on beam this season her highest score came at MACs where she broke another personal best at 9.725... she competed the last two meets in the all-around and posted scores of 37.950 and 37.875 respectively.

2006: On her first year of competing she participated in eight meets on the bars and floor, and two times on the vault... on vault she had a 9.525 against William and Mary...her best performance on bars was at the MAC Championships with a 9.400, and she also had a sixth place finish at William and Mary... on floor her top performance was also at the MAC Championship with a 9.500.

High School: A 2005 graduate of South Colchester Academy High School...went to five Canadian Nationa Gymnastics Championships...placed in the top 21 in 2005...trained at Halifax Alta Gymnastics Club.

Personal: Daughter of Peter and Louise Wirtanen...born October 16, 1986...majoring in exercise specialist...has one older sister, Natasha...graduated high school with honors with distinction...was a Canadian National Armwrestling Champion in 2004 and 2005... Competed for Halifax Alta Gymnastics Club under coach Keiji Yamanaka.
