ROSSI AND THE FALCONS
Helped the Falcons to the 2004 MAC Tournament title, and was a member of the '05 team that won the league regular-season and tournament crowns ... also helped the Brown and Orange advance to the MAC Tournament's championship game in 2007.
2007
Played in 18 matches this season to date, starting one ... scored the Falcons' goal in a 1-1 double-OT tie on the road at Michigan State (Sept. 21) ... lone start of the season came in the Youngstown State game (Sept. 23) ... had a total of five shot attempts on the season, with three on goal.
2006
Played in all 20 of BGSU's matches, making five starts ... had one goal for two points ... saw nearly 30 minutes of playing time off the bench at #16 Marquette (Aug. 25), in her first action since the 2004 season ... goal came in the second half of the Eastern Illinois game (Sept. 10), helping the Falcons nail down a 2-0 road win ... started three-straight games in the heart of the MAC schedule in late September-early October, and also started the MAC Tournament match vs. Toledo (Oct. 29) ... seven of her nine total shot attempts were on goal.
2005
Missed the season due to injury.
2004
Named BGSU's Most Improved Player ... played in 20 matches, making eight starts ... the Falcons' top-scoring newcomer, with nine points ... had three goals and three assists ... two of the three goals were match winners, including her well-placed shot in the first half of the MAC Tournament championship match vs. Central Michigan (Nov. 7)... also had the winner in the Miami match (Oct. 8), her first start ... that culminated a three-match point streak, which had included a three-point match (goal and assist) at Akron (Oct. 3) and an assist in the Cleveland State contest (Oct. 1) ... first collegiate point came on an assist vs. Marshall (Sept. 19) ... started each of the final seven matches of the year, as the Falcons made their run to the league title.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned four letters at Bishop Watterson ('04) under coach Dave Merrick ... an all-state third-team selection as a senior ... named to the all-district first team after earning second-team honors as a junior in 2002 ... that '02 squad went 13-4-2 and captured the Central Catholic League title .... a two-time All-CCL selection ... National Honor Society.

Gina Eve Rossi was born Oct. 28, 1985, in Columbus ... biology (pre-medicine) major at BGSU ... after earning a perfect 4.00 GPA in the spring, 2007, semester, now has a cumulative GPA of 3.44 ... daughter of Tim and Mary Rossi ... the second of five children ... has an older sister and three younger brothers ... has played club soccer for Blast FC.
