Threw 136-07 in the discus at the Oliver Nikoloff, finishing fifth 2007: Sat out the 2007 season. 2006:Whitney Hartman had an incredible year for the Falcons in 2006 both during the indoor and outdoor campaigns. Indoors she had two victories in the weight throw, one at the Findlay Track and Field Classic (57-05.75) and at the indoor All-Ohio Championships (55-03.50). She also had two second place finishes at the BGSU Triangular (54.01.75) and BGSU Quintangular (54-07.50). At the indoor MAC Championships, Hartman had a huge personal-record in the weight throw with a toss of 61-02.25, finishing fourth. Also, she unexpectedly finished eighth in the shot put with a throw of 45-09.75, her indoor personal-best. During the outdoor season, she continued to climb her way into the record books. She had two first place finishes in the hammer throw, one at the prestigious Dr. Pepper Invitational (165-05) and one at the Toledo Invite (172-05). She also had two second place finishes in the same event (Ohio Invite, 164-03; Toledo Tri-Meet, 158-03). Although she finished third in two meets, they were her two best meets of the year, the Hillsdale Relays and the MAC Championships. At the Hillsdale Relays she qualified for Regionals in the hammer throw with a toss of 183-04, placing her third on the all-time list. At the MAC Championships, she threw her second-best throw ever (177-04). In the discus, she also led the team, throwing a personal best of 152-03 at the Toledo Invite where she finished second. At the MAC Championships she finished third in the discus with a toss of 143-01. In the shot put she set and outdoor personal-best of 45-03.75. 2005: Finished 6th at the Outdoor MAC Championships in the discus with a season-best 147-01...placed 10th in the hammer (49.08m) which places her fourth all-time...also threw a season best 12.35m in the shot-put outdoors...indoors she recorded a season-best 48-7.5 in the weight throw at the BGSU Invite. High School: A 2004 graduate of Eastwood High School...led her team to back-to-back State apperances in 2003 and 2004...was named first-team All-SLL in 2002-2004...also earned three letters in volleyball and four letters in basketball, where her teamadvanced to the final four in 2001.
